The monthly meeting of the L.B.J. & C. Head Start Policy Council has been scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 2, beginning at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the L.B.J. & C. Development Corporation, 1150 Chocolate Drive, Cookeville.

special called meeting - Sep 2, 14

There will be a special called meeting of Pickett County Commission on Sept. 2, 2014 at the community center in Byrdstown. This meeting will deal with the 2014-15 fiscal budget. The public is invited to attend.

Class of 1994 - Sep 6, 14

The Class of 1994 will be having a 20 year reunion of Saturday, Sept. 6, at Pier 42 Restaurant located at Sunset Marina. Lunch will be at noon with fellowship to follow at Bloomington Christian Church Life Center. For any questions please contact Karri Amonett or Emily Moody.

Town of Byrdstown - Sep 8, 14

The Town of Byrdstown regular monthly meeting will be September 8, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. The public is invited to attend.

Chamber Board of Directors Meeting - Sep 11, 14

Thursday, September 11, at 12:00 noon at the Welcome Center. Lunch will be ordered from CJs Snack Shack.

Board of Education - Sep 15, 14

The Pickett County Board of Education will meet Monday, September 15, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. in the office of the Director of Schools. There will be a work session at 6:30. Comments from the public are always welcomed.

Cross-Conner Reunion - Sep 20, 14

Cross-Conner Reunion will be held Saturday, September 20th at Obey River Park, large shelter. Lunch will be at Noon. Please bring a covered dish.
