Delcie Wright
December 2, 1925 - March 3, 2010

LIVINGSTON--Funeral services for Delcie Wright of Overton County is set for Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Whitson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Paron Cemetery.
Mrs. Wright was born in Pickett County to the Late L.P. and Mary Neal on December 2, 1925. She died in Livingston Regional Hospital on Sunday, February 28. She attended Fairview Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Gawain Wright, and her sons Doyle and Charles Wright.
She is survived by three granddaughters Jenny Johnson of Byrdstown, Lori Wagoner of Crossville and Sharon Gillentine of Hilham; a brother and sister-in-law, Vernon & Mona Neal; sister-in-law Billie Hunter; daughter-in-law, Linda Wright; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Bro. Buddy Reeder will officiate the service.

Emogene Pendergrass
December 15, 1914 - February 23, 2010

BYRDSTOWN--Emogene Pendergrass, 95, of Byrdstown, passed away February 23, 2010, at Livingston Regional Hospital.
Emogene was born December 15, 1914, in Pickett County, the daughter of the late Joe Charles Pierce and Edna Barnes Pierce and was married to the late Edward Pendergrass on March 19, 1938. Mrs. Pendergrass was a retired schoolteacher having taught in Pickett County and Taylor, Michigan, and was a member of Smyrna Presbyterian Church and Byrdstown Lions Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; her father and mother, Joe & Edna and brother, Arthur Pierce.
Surviving relatives include children; Jere E. Pendergrass of Taylor, MI., Robert Pendergrass of Livonia, MI., and Barbara Van Otterloo (John) of Yorba Linda, CA; three grandchildren, Bradley Van Oterloo (Lia) of San Pedro, CA., Brian Van Otterloo of Cincinnati, OH., and Erica Pendergrass Hampton (Bryan) of Huntsville, AL; three great-grandchildren, twins Connor John & Luke Edward Van Otterloo of California and Ross Edward Hampton of AL; three sisters, Evalene Phillips of Byrdstown, Elsie Holt and Betty Jo Bertram (Joseph) all of Cookeville.
Funeral services were held February 27, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Randy Tompkins officiating. Burial was at Smyrna Cemetery. Pallbearers were Bradley Van Otterloo, Brian Van Otterloo, Erica Pendergrass Hampton, Bryan Hampton, Steve Pendergrass and Gary Holt.
