Armithie Florence (Kennedy) Fulton
BYRDSTOWN--Armithie Florence (Kennedy) Fulton, 84, 518 West Main St., Byrdstown passed away Thursday, July 8, 2010 at her residence. She was born May 13, 1926 in Pickett County to the late Henry and Lettie (Parris) Kennedy. She was a homemaker and lived all her life in Pickett County.
Mrs. Fulton is survived by two daughters, Mary Reed and Lillie Wiggins Both of Cookeville, Tn; six sons, Steve Fulton and Willie Fulton both of Byrdstown; Michael Fulton, Cookeville, Tn; Gary Fulton, Jamestown, Tn; Randall Fulton, Sparta, Tn; Andy Fulton, Livingston, Tn. She was also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held July 10, 2010 at Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Danny Hembree officiating and burial at Tompkins Cemetery. Pallbearers included, Donald, Danny and Michael Wiggins, Doug Kennedy, Scotty Young, Billy Stinson, Josh and Linda Stinson. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Barlow Fulton; four sons, James , Johnny, George and Billy Fulton; one daughter, Linda Fulton; one sister, Austie Smith; three brothers, Clifford, James and Mitchell Kennedy.

DRESDEN, TN--Mrs. Martha Ann Boles Jones, 72, passed away July 5, 2010 at Martin Health Care and Rehab Center, Martin, Tn.
She was born September 17, 1937 in Fentress County, Tn. to the late Herbert C. and Delpha Wright Boles. Mrs. Jones was a retired secretary with Tennessee Department of Human Services, member of First Baptist Church in Dresden, Tn. and a member of Eastern Star.
She is survived by one daughter, Carolyn Ann (Mike) Freeman of Dresden, Tn.; cousin, Joyce Boles of Jamestown; two grandchildren, John Michael and Joe Ellis Freeman, Dresden, Tn.
Funeral services were held Thursday, July 8, 2010 at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel, Dresden, with Bro. Don McCulley officiating and burial at Sunset Cemetery. Pallbearers include Bobby Klutts, Derl McClain, Colin Johnson, Ted Kelley, Bryon Freeman and Jason Freeman. Honorary pallbearers were Dwayne Maddox, John and Joe Freeman.
