Carloyn Elizabeth Brown Rich

BYRDSTOWN--Carolyn Elizabeth (Brown) Rich, 52, 580 Mt. Airy Rd., Byrdstown, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at her residence. She was a grocery store employee and lived most of her life in Pickett County. Carolyn was born July 19, 1957 in Clinton County, Ky. to Tommy Brown and Pauline (Brumley) Brown.
Survivors include her husband, Gary Evans Rich; daughter, Sherry Koger & husband Brandon; four sons, John Rich & wife Gardina, Robert, Roger and George Rich, all of Byrdstown; mother, Pauline Brown of Albany, KY; mother-in-law, Betty Rich of Byrdstown; three sisters, Lois Burchett & husband Gene, Francis Shelton & husband Kenneth, all of Albany, Ky., and Christine Jones of Monticello, Ky.; four brothers, Bobby Brown of Monticello, Ky., Tony Brown & wife Anita and Richard Brown & wife Patsy and Eugene Brown & wife Brenda, all of Albany, Ky; one step-granddaughter, Jessie Kidd of Byrdstown. She was also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Carolyn was preceded in death by her father, Tommy Brown; brother, David Brown; father-in-law, Shelton Rich and brother-in-law, Ricky Rich.

Dolphis Osbie Winningham
May 3, 1932 - July 12, 2010


BYRDSTOWN--Mr. Dolphis Osbie Winningham, 78, passed away at his residence on Monday, July 12, 2010.
He was born in Pickett County May 3, 1932 to the late James F. and Mary H. Hill Winningham.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Anna Sue Winnigham and one son, Ricky Lee Winnigham, both of Byrdstown; three brothers, Dewain Winningham of Livingston; James Winningham of Monroe and Dowell Winningham of Indiana; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Wednesday, July 14, 2010 from the chapel of Hall Funeral Home with burial to follow at the Booher Cemetery in Overton County. Bro Rick Cross and Bro. Jeff Flowers officiated. A Masonic service was held on Tuesday, July 13, 2010. Pallbearers included Daryll Winningham, Gary "Little James" Winningham, Eddie Holt, Dowell Winningham, James Winningham, and Dewain Winningham. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Sue Reagan; three brothers, Doyle Winningham, Drew Winningham, and Dorbitt Winningham.

Willard Taskel Beaty
March 9, 1941 - July 10, 2010

BYRDSTOWN--Funeral services for Mr. Willard Taskel Beaty, 69, of Byrdstown were conducted Wednesday, July 14 from the chapel of Hickey and Son Funeral Home in Monticello, KY.
Burial followed in the Cabel Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Beaty died Saturday, July 10, 2010 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
Born March 9, 1941 in Byrdstown, he was the son of the late Carlos and Lestie (Cooke) Beaty.
He is survived by a companion, Mary Sullivan of Monticello, KY; a daughter, Jeri Beaty Cross of Byrdstown; and a sister Drexel Groce of Rocksprings, GA.
Special care provided by Hickey and Son Funeral Home.
