Pat Horn
March 11, 1940 - July 21, 2010

BYRDSTOWN--Pat Wilson Horn, 70, 185 Burnthill Ford Road, Byrdstown, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at the Clinton Co. Hospital in Albany, Ky.
He was born March 11, 1940 in Gallatin, Tn. to the late Charles Thomas and Mabel Elizabeth Head Horn. Mr. Horn was a businessman, owner of Horn Chocolate Company, and owner of Horn Studios as a photographer. He lived most of his life in Kouts, Indiana and the past 12 years in Pickett County.
He is survived by one son, Charles Horn of Kouts, In; one brother, James Horn of Hobbs, New Mexico; nephew, Thomas Horn and wife Monique and their children, T.J., Jacob and Mary all from Valparaiso, IN; and special friend, Barbara Dulin of Byrdstown and also survived by many friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Brown Funeral Chapel in Byrdstown and burial at Pritchard Cemetery with Bro. John Davis officiating. Pallbearers included Charles Horn, Thomas Horn, Jacob Horn, T.J. Horn, Jim Horn and Earl Greenwalt. Special care provided by Brown Funeral Chapel.

Betty Juanita Maynard
September 20, 1940 - July 20, 2010

BYRDSTOWN--Betty Juanita (Crisp) Maynard, 69, Pickett County Care and Rehab, Byrdstown, passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at the Livingston Regional Hospital.
She was born Sept. 20, 1940 in Wilder, Tn. to the late Edmond and Elsie Allred Crisp. Mrs. Maynard was a homemaker and lived most of her life in Pickett County.
She is survived by two daughters, Pamela Boles & husband Carson and Tammie Huddleston & husband Ronald all of Byrdstown; two sons, Freddie Maynard & wife Paulette of Byrdstown and Steve Maynard & wife Darla of Pall Mall; six sisters, Catherine Hood, Muncie, IN; Treva Guffey, Grimsley, TN; Lucy Walls, Hanging Limb, TN; Margaret Landers, Monterey, TN; Peggy Beaty & Sandra Blevins both of Jamestown, TN; two brothers, Charlie Crisp of Grimsley, TN. and Larry Crisp of Highland, TN; 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held Thursday, July 22, 2010 at Brown Funeral Chapel with burial at Mt. Era Cemetery with Bro. Rick Cross officiating. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by step-mom, Willie (Atkins) Crisp; husband, William Odell Maynard; four brothers, Kenneth, Bobby, James and Porter Crisp; two sisters, Wilma and Beulah Crisp and one great-grandson, Matthew Maynard. Pallbearers included, Jesse, Josh & Eric Boles, Chris Maynard, Adam Huddleston and Mackenzie Green. Special care provided by Brown Funeral Chapel.
