Virginia Ruth Reagan Beaty
March 2, 1930 - October 29, 2010

BYRDSTOWN--Virginia Ruth Reagan Beaty, 80, Widow Creek Road, Byrdstown passed away Friday, October 29, 2010 at the Livingston Regional Hospital. She was born March 2, 1930 in Muncie, IN. to the late Vascoe Earl and Ernie Beaty Reagan and lived most of her life in Pickett County. Mrs. Beaty was a homemaker and a member of the Moodyville Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Ancel Beaty of Byrdstown; three daughters, Mary Tompkins and husband Doug of Byrdstown, Donna Kelz and husband Richard of Cookeville, Janie Harmon and husband Jeff of Cookeville; two sons, David Beaty and wife Donna and Wallace and wife, Jackie both of Byrdstown; two sisters, Reba Pugh and Mary Ellen Oakes both of Crossville; one brother, Buddy Reagan of Crossville; 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Vascoe Earl Jr. Reagan.
Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 1, 2010 at Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Jeff Amonett officiating and burial at Mt. Era Cemetery. Pallbearers included were Dana Beaty, Davy Beaty, Eric Fisk, Christa Tompkins, Amy Garrett, Colby Harmon, Amanda Beaty and Jerry Dale Kennedy. Special care was provided by Brown Funeral Chapel.

Alva Allene Flowers Sells
September 29, 1924 - October 27, 2010

BYRDSTOWN--Alva Allene Flowers Sells, 86, 80 Sells Rd., Byrdstown, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010 at the Livingston Regional Hospital.
She was born Sept. 29, 1924 to the late Johnnie and Flora Winningham Flowers in Pickett County and has lived most of her life in Pickett County. Mrs. Sells was a member of the Midway Christian Church.
She is survived by one son, Troy Mike Sells and wife Shirley of Byrdstown; two grandchildren, Angie Pickens and husband Chad, Cristy Beaty and husband Kelvin; three great grandchildren, Hannah Nicole Beaty, Tyrus Joe Beaty and Jordan Allan Pickens. She was also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Brown Funeral Chapel with burial at Lovelady-Sims Cemetery and Bro. Rick Cross and Bro. Randall Sidwell officiating. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Troy Sells; three sisters, Oshie Trishman Ellis, Ova Gunter and Lena Masiongale; two brothers, Walter and Roy Flowers. Pallbearers included were Kelvin Beaty, Jerry Flowers, Jeff Flowers, Rick Gunter, Jerry Reagan and Joseph Reagan. Special care provided by Brown Funeral Chapel.

Oleta Hassler Davidson
December 14, 1914 - October 26, 2010

BYRDSTOWN--Oleta Hassler Davidson, 95, Lovelady Rd., Byrdstown, passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at her residence. She was born Dec. 15, 1914 in Pickett County to the late Scott and Minnie Hassler.
Mrs. Davidson was a devoted Christian and a member of the Lovelady Christian Church. Mrs. Davidson was a retired school teacher having taught over 30 years in Pickett County and a great love for children. Her joy in life was a devoted mother and grandmother and she gave lots of love, inspiration and guidance to her family.
Mrs. Davidson is survived by two sons, Robert Davidson and wife, Joyce of Nashville and Bill Davidson and wife, Phyllis of Cookeville; four grandchildren, Terry Davidson of Murfreesboro, Pam Anderson and husband Kyle of Brentwood, Jeff Davidson and wife Becky and Leigh Ann Ray and husband Gary all of Cookeville; six great grandchildren, Terra Davidson of Murfreesboro, Jessica and Gary Anderson of Brentwood, Jon Alex Davidson, Matthew West and Drew Ray of Cookeville. She is also survived by her special caretakers, Betty Coe, Clementine Asberry, Louise West and Tammy Harmon. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Davidson whom she married in 1943; five brothers, Lark, Wilbur, Gidlowe, Leo and Stanley Hassler; three sisters, Cassie Roberts, Lenora Hassler and Mae Crouch.
Funeral services for Mrs. Davidson were held Thursday, October 28, 2010 at Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Louis Davis and Bro. Jeff Davidson officiating. Burial was held Friday, October 29, 2010 in the Lovelady-Sims Cemetery. Pallbearers included Terry Davidson, Kyle Anderson, Gary Ray, Billy Don Harmon, Steve Garrett, Randy Perry, Charlie Storie and Danny Hall. Special care provided by Brown Funeral Chapel.
