Margarett "Jane" Clark Vandermeulen
May 31, 1941 - April 4, 2011

Danville, Il--Margarett "Jane" Clark Vandermeulen, 69, of Danville, Ill. made her journey home to be with the Lord, after a long battle with cancer on April 4, 2011 at her home with her loving family by her side.
She was born May 31, 1941 to the late James and Dewey Franklin Clark in Byrdstown. Mrs Vandermeulen worked many years at Cahill's Pancake House in Danville with great pride and love. She was a member of the Grape Creek Baptist Church and enjoyed volunteer work, fishing, garage sales, bingo and being the Yahtzee champ. Mrs. Vandermeulen was also a fan of the Chicago Cubs, Bears and Bulls. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Ray. "Sleep with angels."
Survivors include: four daughters, Ruth Ann Lape of Monroe, MI., Shirley Miller & husband Scott of Indiana, Debbie hall & husband Tony of Ohio and Karen Mullins with Eric Ramsey of Georgetown; two sisters, June Hill and Ruby Mullins both of Byrdstown; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Friday, April 8, 2011 at Sunset Funeral home and Cremation Center in Danville, Ill. with Pastor David Leary officiating and burial at Danville National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requested memorial donations to be made in Jane's name to either the Grape Creek Baptist Church or to Provena Hospice.

Hartville, OH--Glee Westfall, 79, of Hartville, OH passed away Sunday, March 20, 2011 at her residence surrounded by her family.
She was born December 9, 1931 in Byrdstown to the late Clarence and Laura Easterly Storie. She was a member of the Ravenna 1st Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed gardening. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by: three brothers, Willard, Glen and Hoover Storie; one sister, Jessie Dudley; stepmother, Dora Poore Storie.
Survivors include husband, James Westfall whom she married December 20, 1952; two daughters, Sheila Hampton and Gary Eggleston of Ravenna, OH and Laura Brown & husband Greg of Pall Mall; one brother, Doyle Storie of Pall Mall; two sisters, Mae Westfall of Cambridge, OH and Peggy McFarland of Louisville, KY; seven grandchildren, Benjamin & Anddru Hampton, Sara Krieger, Eric, Anthony, Brian & Trevor Brown; six great-grandchildren, Hutton, Shelbie and Cecilia Krieger, Jolean Hampton and Gracelynn Hampton and McKenzie Brown.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at the Ravenna 1st Church of the Nazarene with burial at Maple Grove Cemetery in Ravenna, OH. Pallbearers included Benjamin and Anddru Hampton, Sara and Scott Krieger, Eric, Antohony, Brian and Trvor Brown. Special care was provided by Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Home, Ravenna, OH.
