Rev. Bobby C. “B.C.” Threet
November 2, 1932 - May 24, 2011

MIFFLINBURG, PA--Rev. Bobby Carl “B.C.” Threet, 78, of 18 Shawna Lane, for the past seven years, formerly of Byrdstown, and Adrian, Michigan, entered into rest Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
He was born Nov. 2, 1932, in Wilder, Tn., son of the late Alonzo and Viola (Cravens) Threet. On July 11, 1950, he married the former Wilma P. Deming, who survives.
B.C. most recently attended the Chapman Community Chapel, Port Trevorton. He was active in evangelistic work most of his life and pastored for 46 years, including at the Church of Christ in Christian Union in both Michigan for four years and Lewisburg for two years. B.C. founded the Sound of the Gospel Church in Selinsgrove, where he continued to pastor for 25 years. He was disc jockey of the “Southern Gospel Express” program on WMLP, Sunbury, was a member of the United Missionary Evangelistic Association. He enjoyed singing and preaching with his family in the quartet, “Family Four”, for seven years.
Surviving in addition to his wife of nearly 61 years, are two sons and one daughter-in-law, Ricky D. Threet and his companion Joan Kerstetter of Winfield, and Phil C. and Marlene J. Threet of Mifflinburg; two daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara J. and Steve Wilbert of Port Trevorton, and Kim D. and Kii Z. Fisher of Shamokin Dam; one brother and sister-in-law, Charlie and Bonnie Threet of Novi, Michigan; one sister and brother-in-law, Trish and Jim Munoz of Toledo, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Bobby Darrel Threet; four brothers, Beulis. William, Jewel, and Jesse Threet; and two sisters, Ruby Norris, and Janine Dillon.
Burial was in the Wayside Cemetery, Middleburg. Memorial contributions may be made to the Chapman Community Chapel, 94 Silver Creek Rd., Port Trevorton, PA 17864. Funeral arrangements are by Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg.

Rudolph Rodriguez
October 15, 1928 - May 23, 2011

PALL MALL--Rudolph Rodriguez, 82, 1016 Upchurch Loop, Pall Mall, passed away Monday, May 23, 2011 at the Jamestown Regional Medical Center.
He was born Oct. 15, 1928 in New York City, NY. to the late Angelo and Mary Piniero Rodriguez. Mr. Rodriguez was a retired stock clerk. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one brother Angelo Rodriguez;
Surviving relatives include three sisters; Elsie Sacher, Monroe; Lydia Davis, Maryville, Tn., and Hilda Valle, Hudson, Fl. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Memorial services will be held on Sunday, June 5, 2011 at Travisville Methodist Church with Rev. Larry Campbell officiating. Special care provided by Brown Funeral Chapel.

Lola Mae Zachary Russell
January 22, 1925 - May 23, 2011

BYRDSTOWN--Lola Mae Zachary Russell, 86, Pickett Care and Rehab, 129 Hillcrest Dr., Byrdstown passed away Monday, May 23, 2011 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was born Jan. 23, 1925 in Albany, Ky. to the late Christopher Banlow & Emma Mullins Zachary.
She was a factory employee, homemaker and attended the First Bible Baptist Church in Byrdstown and lived most of her life in Pickett Co. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Loyd Gentry Russell; three brothers, Austin, Odis and Wilber Zachary; two sisters, Oza Watkins and Odean Zachary.
Survivors include two daughters, June Stephens & husband Wayne, Jamestown; and Janice Dimple Vitatoe & husband Harold of Bluffton, IN; three sisters, Ora Dowdy, Louise Fisher and Ovella Mullins, all of Byrdstown; one grandchild, Scott Allen Vitatoe; three great-grandchildren, one step-grandchild and two step-great grandchild. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Rick Cross officiating and burial at Chanute-Campbell Cemetery. Pallbearers were Scott Vitatoe, Ronnie Zachary, John Zachary, Michael Zachary, Larry Zachary and Danny Dowdy. Special care provided by Brown Funeral Chapel.

Richard Dean Dinkins
April 2, 1950 - May 22, 2011


BYRDSTOWN--Richard Dean Dinkins "Dink", 61, 104 Skyline Dr. Byrdstown, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2011 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
He was born April 2, 1950 in Henry County, In. to the late Otis and Grace Muncy Dinkins. He was a maintenance worker at the Overton Co. Nursing Home in Livingston, a member of the Red Hill Church of Christ and lived the past 24 years at Pickett County. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by three brothers, Jackie, Danny and Ricky Dinkins; half-sister, Joann Williams. Survivors include wife, Pamela Harris Dinkins, Byrdstown; one daughter, Richeal Douglas, Greenwood, IN; two sons, Shane Dinkins, New Castle, IN and Justin Dinkins, Indianapolis, IN; sister, Sharon Dinkins, Cookeville; and half-sister, Sandy Troxell, New York; three brothers, Ronnie and Tom Dinkins, both of New Castle, IN; and Gary Dinkins, Shelbyville, IN; one granddaughter, Faith Marie Rector. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at Livingston Funeral Home with Bro. Bruce Mullinix officiating and burial at Okolona Cemetery. Pallbearers were Shane Newberry, Tim Dinkins, Shane Dinkins, Matt Crawford, Mike Sells, Allan Neal, Justin Dinkins. Special care provided by Livingston Funeral Home.
