Archie Coomer

Archie Coomer
BYRDSTOWN--Archie Coomer, 83, 1023 Center Lane, Byrdstown passed away Saturday, June 4, 2011 at his residence.
He was born Feb. 2, 1928 in Vicco, Ky. to the late Bradley and Elizabeth Spencer Coomer. Mr. Coomer was a Master SGT., Flight Engineer for the Air Force and lived the past three years in Pickett Co. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one daughter, Debra Jacobi; one brother, John Coomer; two sisters, Dorothy Gilbert and Laura Anderson.
Survivors include wife, Barbara Mcleod Coomer of Byrdstown; daughter, Patricia Pieper, East Troy, WI; three sons, Steven and Robert Coomer both of Hillsboro, OH. and David Coomer of Knoxville, TN; two sisters, Gertrude Gibson, Cherry Fork, OH. and Helen Jones, Wooster, OH; brother, Paul Coomer of Dayton, OH; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held June 8, 2011 at Wallace- Thompson Funeral Home in Winchester, OH and burial at Dayton National Cemetery. Pallbearers included; James Barker, Scott Heyob, Paul Coomer, Steven Coomer, David Coomer and Robert Coomer. Special local care provided by Brown Funeral Chapel.

Larry Joe Bilbrey
March 23, 1948 - June 1, 2011

Larry Joe Bilbrey, 63, passed away at 5:40 a.m. on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at his residence.
He was born on March 23, 1948 in Muncie, IN to the late Ralph Travis and Euva Jeyne (Haynes) Bilbrey. He graduated from Muncie Southside High School in 1966. He married Loretta A. Harshbarger April 20, 1973 at Calvary Christian Church in Hartford City. Larry retired from Muncie GMC New Venture Gear in 1997 where he worked in Quality Control after 31 1/2 years of service. He also worked at Indiana Veneer in Montpelier for 11 years after his retirement. Larry was a member of Calvary Christian Lighthouse Church, member of UAW #499 in Muncie, enjoyed fishing, wood working of any kind, grilling and being outdoors with his family. He loved being on his John Deere tractor with his grandsons Garritt and Chandler mowing.
Larry will be sadly missed by his wife, Loretta A. Bilbrey, Hartford City, IN; son, Anthony T. Bilbrey, Springport, IN; daughter, Keri A. (husband Glenn Oliver, Hartford City; grandchildren, Kayla, Chelcee, Travis, Chandler, Garritt, Evan, Quenton and Ethan; great-grandchild, Benjamin; sisters, Wanda R. King and Debbie M. Lee Marion, IN; stepmother, Jean F. Bilbrey; step-sister, Patty & husband Gary King all of Byrdstown; step-brother, Joe Storie, Plant City, FL; mother-in-law, Euella Webb, Hartford City. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by son, Larry Joe Bilbrey, II.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 4, 2011 at Calvary Christian Lighthouse Church with Pastor Chris Neel officiating and burial at the Gardens of Memory in Muncie, IN. Memorials may be made to I.U. Health Hospice at Ball Memorial Hospital, 2401 W. University Ave., Muncie, IN 47303-3499. Special care was provided by Keplinger Funeral Home in Hartford City.
