Neil Francis Collins

BYRDSTOWN--Neil Francis Collins, 68, of 134 Abby Lane, Byrdstown passed away Monday, June 27, 2011 at his residence.
He was born Dec. 20, 1942 in Detroit, MI to the late Gilbert and Leitha May Bachert Collins. Mr. Collins was a retired postal worker, a Veteran serving the Navy and lived the past five years in Pickett County.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Freeda Malugen Collins of Byrdstown; three daughters, Diane Macri & husband Vince, St. Clair, MI., Cheryl Ortwine & husband Rick, Byrdstown and Toni Griffith, Zellwood, FL; one son, Jack Drouin, Byrdstown; 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Also survived nieces and nephews and other family members and friends. The family has chosen cremation with no memorial service set at this time. Special care provided by Brown Funeral Chapel.
