Ovella Asberry Elder
June 11, 1929 - August 26, 2011

BYRDSTOWN--Ovella Asberry Elder, better known as Bid, 82, of 4020 Jolley Rd., Byrdstown passed away Friday, August 26, 2011 at Livingston Regional Hospital.
She was born June 11, 1929 in Pickett Co. to the late Johnny and Bertie Davidson Asberry. Mrs. Elder was a factory worker and homemaker and attended the Byrdstown First Christian Church. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by husband, Dale Elder; four brothers, J.C., Gayron, James and Hollis Asberry.
Survivors include; two sons, Roger Elder & wife, Sandra of Maryville, TN and Doug Elder & wife, Rhonda of Byrdstown; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held Sunday, August 28, 2011 at Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Rick Cross and Bro. John Stone officiating and burial at Lovelady-Sims Cemetery. Pallbearers were Josh Elder, Jason Elder, Fred Elder, John Elder, Byron Asberry and Phil Asberry. Special care provided by Brown Funeral Chapel.

Osval Eugene Storie
April 19, 1944 - August 23, 2011

PALL MALL--Osval Eugene Storie, 67, of 556 Carlos Storie Rd., Pall Mall passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at the Clinton Co. Hospital in Albany.
He was born April 19, 1944 in Muncie, IN. to Jarah Alonza "Jay" and Velma Rich Storie. Mr. Storie was a retired mechanical engineer. He is preceded in death by his father, Jay Storie.
Survivors include wife, Rosemary McConnaughey Storie of Pall Mall; two daughters, Melinda Birdwell of White House, TN and Stephanie Bruner of Cincinnati, OH; two sons, Chip Storie and Todd Bruner both of Cincinnati, OH; mother, Velma Rich Storie, Knoxville, TN; three sisters, Katy Placke, Somerset, KY., Judy Neel and Joan Amonett both of Knoxville, TN; ten grandchildren. Also survived by aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews other family members and friends. The family has chosen cremation with memorial services to be set at a later date. Special care provided by Brown Funeral Chapel.
