Hermann Porter Bilbrey
April 23, 1928 - September 6, 2011

BYRDSTOWN--Herman Porter Bilbrey, 83, 1126 Cordell Hull Memorial Dr., Byrdstown, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2011 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
He was born April 23, 1928 in Pickett County to the late Reese Edgar and Lillie Dale Guffey Bilbrey. Mr. Bilbrey was a Veteran of the Korean War serving in the army, a retired employee from Warner Gear and lived the past 27 years in Pickett County. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his first wife, Ann Goodman Bilbrey; two sisters, Mossie McClain and Alice Peterect; four brothers, Major, Woodrow, Robert and Ralph Bilbrey.
Survivors include wife Jimmie Lee Amonett Bilbrey of Byrdstown; three daughters, Brenda Dinkins, Muncie IN., Karen Brooks and Melanie Burton & husband Max all of Anderson, IN; one son, Adam Bilbrey of Auburn, IN; three sisters, Blanche Higginbotham of Pall Mall, Rita Garrett, Monroe, TN and Ruth Williams, Muncie, IN; two brothers, Ray Bilbrey of Byrdstown and Glen Bilbrey, Muncie, IN; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held Thursday, September 8, 2011 at Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Randy Tompkins and Mr. Stephen Bilbrey officiating and burial at Elm Ridge Cemetery in Muncie, IN. Special care Brown Funeral Chapel.

Lawrence Kyle "Lurch" Noelting
April 5, 1969 - September 5, 2011

BYRDSTOWN--Lawrence Kyle "Lurch" Noelting, 42, of Byrdstown passed away at his residence on Monday, Sept. 5, 2011.
He was born April 5, 1969 in Jamestown, to Barbara Buesing. Mr. Noelting was a carpenter and Chairman of the Pickett County Beer Board.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Kyle and Maudean Booher; sister, Marie Bond; uncle, Frankie Booher; cousin, Daniel Canon and several aunts and uncles.
Survivors include brother, Tim Booher & wife Kim, Lafayette, TN; sister, Billie Bond & Gary Phares of Byrdstown; aunt, Vickie Graham of Monroe; four nephews, Jordan Crabtree, Brycen, Nick and Spencer Booher; niece, Kyra Phares; special nieces, Alice Delk and Chloe King; special nephews, Noah King and Zack Delk. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011 at Smyrna Church with Bro. Randy Tompkins officiating and burial in the Smyrna Cemetery. Pallbearers were, Frankie Booher, Ronald Beaty, Marcus Booher, David Clark, Gary Booher, Noah King, Zack Delk, Brycen Booher, Nick Booher and Spencer Booher.
Hall Funeral Home of Livingston was in charge of the arrangements.
