Mary James (Easterly) Moody
March 22, 1933 - May 30, 2008

WEST CARROLLTON, OH--Mary James (Easterly) Moody, 75, 5866 Homedale, West Carroll-ton, Oh., passed away May 30, 2008 at her residence. She worked security with Meijer’s Department Store.
She was born March 22, 1933 in Pickett County, the daughter of James Easterly and Bessie (Dillon) Easterly. She was a member of West Carrollton First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Denton Lesley “D.L.” Moody; five sisters, Leah Cox, Ineta Banyoski, Peggy Ann Roberts, Etta Ruth Mitchell and Winnie Sue Rich.
Surviving relatives include: daughter, Anita Fogle, West Carrollton, Oh; three sons, James Moody, Hamilton, Oh; Denton Moody, Whitehall, Ark.; David Moody, Dayton, Oh.; sister, Delcena Crockett, Pall Mall; 12 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held June 9, at 1 p.m. from Beaty Cemetery with Bro. Jack Winningham officiating. Burial was at Beaty Cemetery. Family served as pallbearers.
