Dalton "Sie" Howard Reagan
January 28, 1928 - February 22, 2012

BYRDSTOWN--Dalton "Sie" Howard Reagan, 84, 133 Smyrna Rd., Byrdstown passed away Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012 at Pickett Co. Care and Rehab.
He was born Jan. 28, 1928 in Pickett County to the late James Watson and Dona Jones Reagan. Mr. Reagan lived all his life in Pickett County, he was a lumber grader, a member of the Bloomington Christian Church which he was a deacon for 33 years. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by two sisters, Ida Bilbrey and Ruth Pierce; five brothers, Grady, Virdeen, Charlie, Norman and Tommy Reagan.
Survivors include loving wife of 63 years, Doretta Hicks Reagan and son James "Red Eye" Reagan both of Byrdstown; two sisters, Faye Todd of Yorktown, IN and Linda Delaney of Gaston, IN; brother, David W. Reagan of Byrdstown; two grandchildren, Sonya Nivens and Mitzie Stidham and husband Mike; four great-grandchildren, Megan and Kris Ann Nivens & Reagan and Tyler Johnson; special niece, Phyllis Whittenburg. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012 at Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Charles Jolly and Bro. Rick Cross officiating and burial Smyrna Cemetery. Pallbearers included Steve Reagan, Mark Reagan, Jack Whittenburg, Chris Nelson, Jimmy Sells, Kenneth Aaron, Tommy Reagan and Tommy E. Reagan. Honorary pallbearers were Sonya, Megan and Kris Ann Nivens, Mitzie Stidham, Reagan and Tyler Johnson. Special care provided by Brown Funeral Chapel.

Riley Sam Huddleston
February 7, 1948 - February 15, 2012

MUNCIE, IN--Riley Sam Huddleston, Sr., 64, 2400 E. 16 St., Muncie, IN. passed away Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012 at his residence. He was born Feb. 7, 1948 in Albany, KY to the late Farley and Eve Ellen Davis Huddleston and lived most of his life in Indiana since 1964. Mr. Huddleston was a steelworker, Veteran of Vietnam War serving in the Army and was a avid fisherman. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one brother Farley Huddleston, Jr. Survivors include one son Riley "Sam" Huddleston, Jr. and wife Lisa of Eaton, IN; two sisters, Pauline Newsome and Caroline Franklin; three grandchildren, Marissa, Clarissa and Tristan Huddleston. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held on Monday, February 20, 2012 at Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Royce Huddleston officiating and burial at Williams Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers included Riley Sam Huddleston, Jr., Tristan Huddleston, Kendall Huddleston, Sam "Little Sam" Huddleston, Austin Long, Justin Wright, Josh Wright and Jacob Wright. Special care provided by Brown Funeral Chapel.

Porter Cecil Kennedy
May 27, 1940 - February 13, 2012


BYRDSTOWN--Porter Cecil Kennedy, 71, 100 Pickett Square Dr., Apt. F-1, Byrdstown passed away Monday, Feb. 13, 2012 at the Byrdstown Medical Center.
He was born May 27, 1940 in Zula, KY to the late Cordell and Ora Jones Kennedy. Mr. Kennedy lived half his life in Pickett County. He was a steel factory worker and attended the Assembly of God in Monticello, Ky. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by wife, Pam Luse Kennedy; grandson, Adam Conner; stepdaughter, Terry Dever; three sisters, Wondel Griffin, Joyce York, Marie Kennedy; brother, Hershel Ray Kennedy.
Survivors include three daughters, Laura Neal & husband Jeff, Julie Conner and Elainea Conner & husband David; one son, Steven Kennedy; stepson, Dennis Kennedy & wife Patty; brother, Kay Kennedy & wife Becky; 17 grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, two step-great grandchildren. Special friends, Doris Anderson, Alma Kennedy, Lonnie Moon and Jerry Riley.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012 at Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Ricky Cross and burial at Tompkins Cemetery. Pallbearers were Lonnie Moon, Jody Moon, Ethan Moon, Chris Conner, Devin "Bubba" Storie, Nic Upchurch. Honoary pallbearers are, Dennis Kennedy, Charles Parris, Jeff Neal and Gregory Wright. Special care provided by Brown Funeral Chapel.

Jewel Vera Wilson Pierce
July 19, 1941 - February 12, 2012


LIVINGSTON--Jewel Vera Wilson Pierce, 70, 135 Garrett Mill Rd., Livingston, passed away Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012 at Kindred Healthcare in Algood.
She was born July 19, 1941 in Burnsville, NC to the late Woodrow and Faye Edna Crowder Wilson. Mrs. Pierce was a housewife. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Keith Pierce and son, Patrick Lynn Pierce.
Survivors include four sisters, Bettie Lou King and Carol Sue Crissone both of Burnsville, NC., Wanda Johnson and Wilma Johnson both of Gainesboro, TN; four brothers, Charles Mike Wilson and Woodrow Wilson, Jr. both of Burnsville, NC., Ray Wilson of Cookeville; and Roger Dale Wilson of Ashville, NC; two grandchildren. The family has chosen cremation. Special care provided by Brown Funeral Chapel.
