Mildred Irene Holbert Chilton
August 19, 1929 - February 28, 2012

BYRDSTOWN--Mildred Irene Holbert Chilton, 82, 120 Lakeview Heights, Byrdstown passed away Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012 at the Overton Co. Nursing Home in Livingston.
She was born Aug. 19, 1929 in Pickett County to the late Henry and Ruby Mae Hensley Holbert. Mrs. Chilton was the past owner and operator of Byrdstown Laundry, Chilton's Trailer Rentals, Mildred's Drive -In Restaurant and a member of the Lovelady Christian Church.
Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband John Wesley "Pete" Chilton; two brothers, Ardel and Dan Holbert.
Survivors include son, Johnny Winston Chilton & wife Renate of Byrdstown; two grandchildren, Kirsten Auberson & husband, Mark and Daniel Chilton & wife, Tara; four great-grandchildren, Delaney, Paisley & Kobey Chilton and Trevor Auberson. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, March 2, 2012 at Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Rick Cross officiating and burial at Smyrna Cemetery. Pallbearers included, Doug Manis, Clinton Hill and Mark Auberson. Special care provided by Brown Funeral Chapel.

Judy Ann Covey Kennedy
December 31, 1960 - February 25, 2012

BYRDSTOWN--Judy Ann Covey Kennedy, 51, Kennedy Lane, Byrdstown passed away Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 31, 1960 in Overton County to the late Sherman Virgil and Marthie Neal Covey. Mrs. Kennedy was a homemaker, a member of the Red Hill Church of Christ and lived all her life in Pickett County.
Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her Aunt Orie Bilbrey; Uncles, Earnest, Dee and Floyd Covey; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Clifford and Lillie May Kennedy. Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Kennedy; two daughters, Amy Kennedy and Amanda Jennings & husband Pete; two sons, Jimmy Kennedy & wife Jamie and Joey Kennedy; sister, Sharon South & husband Malcolm, all of Byrdstown; five grandchildren, Darinel Escrobar, Jazmine Kennedy, Jeremiah Kennedy, Shannon Buck and Emma Buck. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012 at Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Rick Cross and Bro. Benny Hackler officiating and burial at Smyrna Cemetery. Pallbearers were Dean Kennedy, Roger Kennedy, Dougie Kennedy, Randy Brown, Pete Jennings, Thomas Kennedy.
Special care provided by Brown Funeral Chapel.
