June 9, 1971 - July 9, 2012

NASHVILLE--Nicole Lee Winningham, 41, 729 Ermac Dr., Nashville passed away Monday, July 9, 2012 at Skyline Madison in Madison, TN.
She was born June 9, 1971 in Nashville to Roger Winningham and Benalyn Garrett Winningham. Ms. Winningham lived all her life in Nashville and was a retail clerk. She is preceded in death by her grandparents.
Survivors include father and step-mother, Roger & Meg Winningham of Nashville and mother and step-father, Benalyn and Thom Ferrell of Centerville, TN; sister, Tish Jones & husband Mark of Nolensville, TN; brother, Daniel Winningham, Columbus Air Force Base, MS; "Little" sister, Jessie Hooberry; special friend, Denise Stewart. Also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Randy Tompkins and Bro. Rick Cross officiating and burial at Smyrna Cemetery. Pallbearers included Jimmy, Brad and Johnny Richardson, Tom Allen, Jeff and Jason Winningham. Special care provided by Brown Funeral Chapel.

Joseph H. "Joe" Ferrell
July 29, 1931 - June 30, 2012

HUNTSVILLE, AL--Joseph H. "Joe" Ferrell, 80 of Huntsville, AL passed away June 30, 2012.
He was born July 29, 1931 in Byrdstown to the late Joe and Martha Ferrell and was the 8th of 10 children. He attended Warren Wilson College in North Carolina and later transferred and graduated from Tennessee Tech. He received his Masters of Science in Administration from University of Alambama, Huntsville and then served in the Army as a 2nd Lieutenant at Fort Bragg and Fort Huachuca. Mr. Ferrell left the Army a 1st Lieutenant and to work with the U2 program at Hycon Industries. He had the opportunity to travel all over the world and retired from his working career in the personnel department at NASA. In retirement he worked part-time for Calhoun College as an instructor at Limestone Correctional Facility and enjoyed teaching the inmates the skills they needed to receive their GED.
Joe and the love of his life, Rose Marie Canning met in Pasedena, CA at a bowling alley and was married eight weeks later. They have three children and celebrated 54 years of marriage in May 2012. Mr. Ferrell spent countless hours watching his children at sports events and music performances and was present in their daily lives. He loved his grandchildren and was proud of all they had accomplished and poured himself into each of them. He attended the First Christian Church in Byrdstown and then attended St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Mobile, AL. In the 47 years he and Rose lived in Huntsville and attended Hillwood, Whitesburg, Willowbrook and Morningside Baptist Church. He was an active member at Faith Chapel.
Survivors include his wife, Rose Ferrell; two sons, Jim Ferrell & wife Elisa and Pat Ferrell & wife Jodee; daughter Ellen Kuehl & husband Dale; seven grandchildren, Brandon and Jessica Ferrell, Connor, Hannah, Adam, Jake and Nathan Echenrode; brother, Charles Ferrell & wife Ruth of Byrdstown; two sisters, Brenda Smith of Byrdstown and Alta Davidson of Florida.
Funeral services were held July 7, 2012 at Faith Chapel with Pastors Joel T. McGraw, John T. Canning and David Stephens officiating and burial at Huntsville Memory Gardens. Pallbearers include Dale Kuehl, Luke Canning, Gary Horn, David Cochran, John Berg and Jimmy Fields.
