Barbara Sue Craig Abbott

BYRDSTOWN--Barbara Sue Craig Abbott, 59, passed away Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 22, 1952 in Albany, KY. Mrs. Abbott lived most of her life in Byrdstown, was a garment factory worker and a member of the Peolia United Methodist Church in Albany.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Abbott; brother, Teddy Horne; grandparents Edd and Birdie Craig.
Survivors include daughter, Angela Abbott Arnett and husband John, Cookeville; son, Chris Abbott and wife Shelly, Pall Mall; mother, Margie Craig Horne and husband James of Union City, IN; two brothers, Jim Horne and wife Anita, Union City IN. and Gene Glidewell and wife Margretta of Albany; five grandchildren, Dawson, Will, Mattie, Lilleigh and Dylan. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012 at Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. David Stearns and Bro. Rick Cross officiating and burial at Red Hill Church of Christ Cemetery. Pallbearers included Jeff Craig, John Craig, Carey Garner, Jim Horne, Dennis Flowers and Eddie Craig.
