Walter Marion Manis

BYRDSTOWN--Walter Marion Manis, 45 of Faix Rd., Byrdstown passed away Monday, Sept. 17, 2012 at the Livingston Regional Hospital.
He was born Aug. 3, 1967 in Jamestown, to Bessie Hinds Manis and the late Carlos D. Manis. Mr. Manis was a construction worker and heavy equipment operator. Other than his father he is preceded in death by brother, Jimmy Manis.
Survivors include daughter, Samantha Manis; mother, Bessie Matthews; sister, Jackie Slaven; three brothers, Jerry, Terry and Perry Manis all of Byrdstown; niece, Carla Koger and nephew, Shane Slaven. Also survived by great nieces, great nephews, other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 21, 2012 at Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Randy Tompkins and Bro. Rick Cross officiating and burial at Mt. Era Cemetery. Pallbearers were Leonard Manis, Lonnie Moon, Matthew Moon, Joey Harden, Stacy Hull and Josh Beaty. Special care provided by Brown Funeral Chapel.
