Delores Cole Amonett
August 18, 1932 - October 19, 2012

Indianapolis, IN--Delores Cole Amonett, 80 of 6753 East 17th St., Indianapolis, IN and formerly of Albany, KY passed away Friday, Oct. 19, 2012 at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis.
She was born August 18, 1932 in Albany, Ky. to the late Chester and Francis Grider Cole. Mrs. Amonett lived most of her life in Indianapolis. She was a retired employee of the State of Indiana and a member of the Eastgate Christian Church in Indianapolis. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by brother, Deward Cole and two step-sisters, Elizabeth and Elouise Smith.
Survivors included husband, Bob Amonett; two sons, Jeffrey "Rocky" Amonett and Rusty Amonett all of Indianapolis, In.; two brothers, C.L. Cole, Richmond, Ky. and John D. Cole of Avon, In.; three grandchildren. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 22, 2012 at Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. John Stone officiating and burial at Amonett Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ryan Amonette, Kyle Amonette, Jacob Cole, Derek Bush, Alec Bush and Brandon Riggens. Special care provided by Brown Funeral Chapel.

Ray Edgar Bilbrey
May 22, 1921 - October 17, 2012


BYRDSTOWN--Ray Edgar Bilbrey, 91 of 3320 Red Hill Rd., Byrdstown passed away Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012 at the Livingston Regional Hospital.
He was born May 22, 1921 in Pickett County to the late Reese Edgar and Lillie Dale Guffey Bilbrey and lived most of his life in Pickett County. Mr. Bilbrey was a retired garment factory worker, a member of the First Christian Church in Byrdstown and a Veteran of W.W. II serving in the Army. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by two sisters Mossie McClain and Alice Peterect and five brothers, Major, Woodrow, Robert, Ralph and Herman Bilbrey.
Survivors include wife, Blanche Dowdy Bilbrey, Byrdstown; two sons, Michael Bilbrey and wife Diane of Byrdstown and Gary Bilbrey and wife, Jacquelyn of Noblesville, IN; three sisters, Blanche Higginbotham of Pall Mall, Rita Garrett of Monroe; and Ruth Williams and brother Glen Bilbrey of Muncie, IN; three grandchildren, Jackie Bilbrey Hickey, Stephen and Chris Bilbrey; and five great-grandchildren. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. John Stone and Bro. Rick Cross officiating and burial at Story Cemetery. Pallbearers included Stephen Bilbrey, Chris Bilbrey, Tyler Bilbrey, A.C. Bilbrey, Rick Johnson and Doyle Cope. Special care provided by Brown Funeral Chapel.

Rema Mae Rich Story
July 4, 1931 - October 15, 2012


Bon Aqua, TN--Rema Mae Rich Story, 81 of 9784 Dogwood Dr., Bon Aqua, TN and formerly of South Main St., Byrdstown passed away Monday, Oct. 15, 2012 at the Hickman Community Hospital in Centerville, TN.
She was born July 4, 1931 in Pickett Co. to the late Clayton B. and Nettie Jane Harden Rich. Mrs. Story was a factory employee, homemaker and a member of the Byrdstown First Christian Church. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by husband, Winton J. Story.
Survivors include three daughters, Sharon Keeney of Lake Arrowhead, CA., Marion Moore, Spring Hill, TN and Deanna Chaffin, Bon Aqua, TN; three sisters, Emogene King and Ruby Glass of Byrdstown and Virginia Lee of Mt. Juliet, TN; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, Oct. 19, 2012 at Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Randy Tompkins and Bro. Rick Cross officiating and burial at Story Cemetery. Pallbearers included J.B. King, David King, Brent Clark, Archie Griffin, Les Reeder and Jeff Flowers. Special care provided by Brown Funeral Chapel.
