Ella Mabel Ferrell Tidrow Sells
January 19, 1919 - December 4, 2012

BYRDSTOWN--Ella Mabel Ferrell Tidrow Sells, 93 of Jones Chapel Rd., Byrdstown passed away Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012 at the Pickett Care and Rehab Center.
She was born Jan. 19, 1919 in Overton Co. to the late Edgar and Cora Bice Ferrell and lived most of her life in Pickett County. Mrs. Sells was a retired Pickett County school cook, former cook at Star Point Dock, housewife and a member of the Bloomington Christian Church.
Other than her parents she is preceded in death by first husband Howard Tidrow; son, Eugene Tidrow; sister, Lola Copeland; half-sister, Vera Hastings; three half brothers, Verlie Ferrell, Willie and Hassel Norris.
Survivors include husband John Esco Sells of Byrdstown; two step-daughters and one step-son; five nieces, Carol Melton, Mary Elizabeth Rosco, Wilma Oakley, Geraldine Hester and Christine Martin; four nephews, Rankin Little, Bob Amonett, Steve Reagan and Jerry Little. Also survived by great nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 7, 2012 at Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Rick Cross officiating and burial at Tidrow Cemetery. Pallbearers include Steve Reagan, Rankin Little, James Melton, Jimmy McCoy, Jim McCoy and Jordan McCoy. Special care provided Brown Funeral Chapel.

Kerby Buck
April 1, 1935 - December 2, 2012

BYRDSTOWN--Kerby Buck, 77 of Old Hillcrest Dr. Byrdstown passed away Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
He was born April 1, 1935 in Fentress Co. to the late Dennis Okra and Zona Cravens Buck. Mr. Buck lived most of his life in the Muncie, IN. area. He was a tool and die machinist with Twoson Tool and Die in Muncie, IN. and a member of the Moose Lodge and Eagles in Anderson, IN. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers, Kellie and Shellie Buck.
Survivors include two daughters, Carrie Stephens of Deer Lodge, TN. and Jodi Strandgren of Gainesville, GA; two sons, Dennis Buck, Jamestown, TN and Tommy Buck, Crossville, TN; three sisters, Nellie Smith and Jane Hughes, both of Rickman and Mary Pritchard of English, IN., 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held December 5, 2012 at Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Rick Cross officiating and burial at Story Cemetery. Pallbearers included Charlie Logan, Tommy Stephens II, Michael Buck, John Strandgren, Donovan Cooley and Jim Bob Sells. Special care provided by Brown Funeral Chapel.
