Kathren "Kathy" Ann Matthews Hancock
May 4, 1949 - December 12, 2012

BYRDSTOWN--Kathren "Kathy" Ann Matthews Hancock, 63, of Faix Rd. passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at her residence. She was born May 4, 1949 in Pickett County to the late Elmer Travis and Audra May Amonnette Matthews. Mrs. Hancock was a caregiver, member of the Moodyville Missionary Baptist Church and lived all her life in Pickett County other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Eldon Hancock and sister, Ruie Matthews.
Survivors include three daughters, Genna Walker, Kim Logan and Debbie Moles and one son, Tim Hancock all of Byrdstown; sister, Ruth Manis of Jamestown, TN; two brothers, Robbie Matthews and Junior Matthews, both of Byrdstown; 11 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, special friends, Jack and Jacalyn Crouch. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Jeff Flowers, Bro. Rick Cross and Bro. Dale Cox officiating and burial at Little Jim Amonett Cemetery. Pallbearers included Trevor Moles, Paul Groce, Chris Groce, Ronald Stewart, Joe Hall and Danny Crouch. Special care provided by Brown Funeral Chapel.

Grady Oscar Neal
June 6, 1932 - December 10, 2012

LIVINGSTON--Grady Oscar Neal, 80 of Overton Co. Nursing Home and formerly of Palestine Rd. in Allons, TN. passed away Monday, December 10, 2012 at the Overton County Nursing Home. He was born June 6, 1932 in Overton County to the late Willie Allen and Laney Carter Neal and lived most of his life in Overton County. Mr. Neal was a farmer, Veteran of WWII serving in the Army and of the Baptist faith. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by wife, Jewell Neal; daughter Shelia Neal; two brothers, Arvis and Walter Neal.
Survivors include two daughters, Gail (Neal) Coffman and Charlotte (Neal) Ford both of Livingston; sister, Geraldine Gravett of Baltimore, MD; brother, Ray Neal of Nashville, TN; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012 at Livingston Funeral Home with Bro. John Copeland officiating and burial at Bethel Cemetery. Pallbearers included Scottie Norrod, Nathan Smith, Rod Johnson, Chad Allen, Scott Geesling and Danny Bilbrey. Special care provided by Livingston Funeral Home.

Wayman Allan Zachary
October 27, 1942 - December 9, 2012

BYRDSTOWN--Wayman Allan Zachary, 70 of Old Static Rd., Byrdstown passed away Sunday, December 9, 2012 at Livingston Regional Hospital.
He was born October 27, 1942 in Pickett Co. to the late Wayman Hobert and Mildred Cope Flowers Zachary. Mr. Zachary lived most of his life in Ohio and Jackson, TN. He was a past employee of the Jackson Sun Newspaper in Jackson, TN., a Veteran of the United States Air Force and of the Church of Christ faith. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by brother, Cecil Flowers; nephew, Howard Rector; great nephew, Derrick Dale Rector.
Survivors include sister, Evelyn Gaye Rector; niece, Janet Babb; three nephews, Galen Rector (Bobbie), Dale Rector (Ruby) and Darrell Flowers; four great-nieces and four great-nephews. Also survived by other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Henry Colbert officiating and burial at Story Cemetery. Pallbearers included Callahan Thrasher, Malcolm Thrasher, Nathan Thrasher, J. Will Taylor, Billy Lee and Lynn Smith. Special care provided by Brown Funeral Chapel.
