Selda Rae Jones Poor
May 15, 1938 - April 17, 2013

BYRDSTOWN--Selda Rae Jones Poor, 74, Pickett Care and Rehab passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was born May 15, 1938 in London, KY. to the late Bradley and Selma Ward Jones. Mrs. Poor lived most of her life in Muncie, IN. and the past 22 years in Pickett Co. She was a house cleaner and was a member of the Providence Church in Jamestown, TN. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Norman Charles Poor; two grandchildren, Justin and Carrie Ervin; one brother, Bradley Jones, Jr.
Survivors include three daughters, Lesa Botkin of Muncie, IN., Lyn Becht and husband Dave and Dianna Bryant all of Georgetown, IN; three sons, Jerry Poore and wife Teresa of Pall Mall, Joe Poor and wife Teresa of Muncie, IN. and Michael Poore of Byrdstown; four sisters, Pauline Wills and Sharon Wills of Muncie, IN., Brenda Salyer and Patsy Mayse of Jamestown; three brothers, Bill and Harold Jones of Muncie and Cleon Jones of Jamestown; 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, April 19, 2013 from Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Matthew Kerney officiating and burial at Williams Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers included Chris Bryant, Greg Bryant, Brad Bryant, Nicholas Poore, John Kennedy and Timothy Hodge, Jr. Special care provided by Brown Funeral Chapel.

Gladys Mae Winningham Reese
September 21, 1924 - April 13, 2013

BYRDSTOWN--Gladys Mae Winningham Reese, 88, Hillcrest Dr., passed away Saturday, April 13, 2013 at the Livingston Regional Hospital.
She was born Sept. 21, 1924 in Huntersville, KY. to the late Harrison and Hattie Jane Young Winningham. Mrs. Reese lived most of her life in Pickett County, was a nursing aide and attended the First Baptist Church in Byrdstown. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by two sisters Marie Poore and Emogene Sells; six brothers, Lonza, Hige, Ward, Paul, Earl and Warren Winningham.
Survivors include numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Also survived by other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Jack Winningham and Bro. Ivan Raley officiating and burial at Smyrna Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jim Sells, Bill Sells, Roger Sells, Leslie Winningham, Douglas Winningham, Ward Winningham and Roger Winningham. Special care provided by Brown Funeral Chapel.
