James Oval Masiongale
May 5, 1938 - April 26, 2013

CARTHAGE--James Oval Masiongale, 74 of Fox Run Lane. Carthage, TN. passed away Friday, April 26, 2013 at Christian Care Nursing Home Center in Smyrna, TN.
He was born May 5, 1938 in Pickett Co. to the late William "Will" Andrew and Susie Ellen Pritchett Masiongale. Mr. Masiongale was a Veteran serving in the army and an engineer. He lived most of his life in Tennessee. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers, J.L. and Dale Masiongale; two sisters, Eldean Ford and Stella Stokes.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis James Masiongale of Carthage; three daughters, Donna Crawford of Carthage, Nelda Erdman and husband Michael of Atlanta, GA. and Deborah Scarlett and husband Steve of Smyrna; two step-children, Steve Brown and wife Adrienne of Indianapolis, IN. and Shanda Packard of Bowling Green, KY; three sisters, Estelle Patton of White House, TN., Emogene Stinson of Franklin, KY. and Sandra Fratto of New Jersey; four brothers, Eugene and Roger Masiongale of Pall Mall, David Masiongale of Marion, IN and Randal Masiongale of Hilham; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members an friends.
Funeral services were held Monday, April 29, 2013 at Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Rick Cross officiating and burial at Pritchard Cemetery. Pallbearers included Michael Erdman, Steve Scarlett, Cody Scarlett, Steve Brown, Terry James and Phil Masiongale. Special care provided by Brown Funeral Chapel.

Ransome Elza Clark
March 1, 1935 - April 23, 2013

COOKEVILLE--Ransome Elza Clark, 78 of Meadow Rd., Cookeville passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
He was born March 1, 1935 in Byrdstown to the late James R. and Emma Storie Clark. Mr. Clark was a Veteran serving in the Army, member of the Byrdstown Masonic Lodge #496 for over 50 years and member of the First Baptist Church in Byrdstown. He was a past Pickett Co. Circuit Clerk, past employee of Russell Stover Candy Factory and lived most of his life in Pickett Co. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by sister, Fran Holt and grandchild, Hope Sisco.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Allene West Clark of Cookeville; daughter, Teresa Clark Sisco and husband Greg of Gastonia, NC; son, Steve Ransome Clark and wife Carol of Clarksville, TN; three sisters, Ruby Sells, Roxie Stanley and Cathey Clark; five brothers, Bransford Clark and wife Jona, Kendall Clark and wife Jane, Glen Clark and wife Fredia, Kelly Clark and wife Janet and Kenneth Clark and wife Marty; five grandchildren, Heather Clark Mendoza (Alberto), Christopher Clark (Lisa), Amanda, Joshua and Crystal Sisco; two great- grandchildren, Ensleigh and Cannon Clark. Also survived by loving brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws ad other family.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Rick Cross officiating and burial at Pritchard Cemetery. Pallbearers included Brian Clark, Jimmy Clark, James Stanley, Greg Sells, Kenny West and Ron Stafford. Special care provided by Brown Funeral Chapel.

Mary Magalene Moles Booher, "Mert"
May 23, 1930 - April 21, 2013

BYRDSTOWN--Mary Magalene Moles Booher, "Mert", 82 of S. Main St. Byrdstown passed away Sunday, April 21, 2013 at her daughter's house in Knoxville, TN.
She was born May 23, 1930 in Pickett Co. to the late Archie Bates and Minnie Emiline Riley Moles. Mrs. Booher lived most of her life in Pickett Co. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Byrdstown and a homemaker.
Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Eugene Booher; grandchild, Brittany Paige Huff; four sisters, Opal Clark, Creola Hensley, Dean Blalock and Olene Wilson; three brothers, Tyson, Earnest and Jim Moles.
Survivors include three daughters, Patty Wilhite and husband Glen of Canton, OK., Judi Parris and Jeannie Patterson both of Knoxville; sister, Clebadell Clark and husband Aubrey; brother, Arnold "Buck" Moles and wife Brenda all of Byrdstown; 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Also survived by a very special friend Larry Wilhite and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, April 26, 2013 at Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Rick Cross and Speaker Patrick Cope officiating and burial at Clark Cemetery. Pallbearers included Ricky Clark, David Clark, Jeremy Huddleston, Jerry Parris, Jr. and Jimmy Sawyer. Honorary Pallbearers were Xazier Parris, Bo Howell, Matt Swartwood and Caleb Howell. Special care provided by Brown Funeral Chapel.

Marvin Lee Booher
June 22, 1942 - April 18, 2013

BYRDSTOWN--Marvin Lee Booher, 70, Pickett Care and Rehab passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013 at the Livingston Regional Hospital. He was born June 22, 1942 in Pickett Co. to the late Willie Clyde and Ilda Jewel Garrett Booher. Mr. Booher was a Veteran serving in the army, a retired railroad employee, auto mechanic and attended Smyrna Church. He lived most of his life in Pickett Co.
Other than his parents he is preceded in death by two sisters, Nena Holt and Brenda Pritchard; brother, Charles Booher and brother-in-law, Dolphis Winnigham.
Survivors include daughter, Lisa Bostrom and husband Glenn; son, Jeffery Lee Edrington and wife, Karen all of Cincinnati, OH; two sisters, Faye Melton and husband Rex, of Monroe and Sue Winningham of Byrdstown; brother-in-law, Truman Holt of Byrdstown; sister-in-law, Judy Booher of Cincinnati, OH; three grandchildren and two step-grandchildren. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held Monday, April 22, 2013 at Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Walter Harold Garrett and Bro. Clarence Spaulding, Jr. officiating and burial at Booher Cemetery in Monroe. Pallbearers included Jeff Edrington, Jordan Edrington, Andrew Edrington, Steve Melton, Eddie Holt, Ricky Winningham and Glenn Bostrom. Special care provided by Brown Funeral Chapel.
