Eva Jane Mullins Storie,
February 9, 1933 - May 14, 2013

HENDERSONVILLE, TN--Eva Jane Mullins Storie, 80, 596 Indian Lake Rd., Hendersonville, TN. passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at NHC Health Care in Hendersonville.
She was born Feb. 9, 1933 in Pickett Co. to the late James Emmitt "Jim" and Laura Magdalene Huddleston Mullins. Mrs. Storie was a past school teacher and homemaker. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by sister, Mary Lee Mullins; grandchild, Laura Storie.
Survivors include her husband Robert Crosier Storie of Hendersonville, TN; daughter, Lisa Burgess of Adams, TN; three sons, Robert Steven Storie and wife Annie of Hanson, KY., Troy Lee Storie and wife Angie of Pensacola, FL. and James Scott Storie and wife Rachel of Norfolk, VA; brother, Cecil Mullins of Crossville, TN; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Brown Funeral Chapel with Rev. Michael David officiating and burial at Mullins Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jarriot Storie, Chris Burgess, Eric Storie, Tyler Storie, Joseph Storie and Brantley Thanes. Donations can be to the Pat Summitt Foundation. Jacob Keith Cummings
July 13, 1977 - May 13, 2013

COOKEVILLE--Jacob Keith Cummings, 35, Farmington Dr., Cookeville and formerly of Pickett Co. passed away Monday, May 13, 2013 at Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, TN.
He was born July 13, 1977 in Overton Co. to Jack and Stacy Rich Cummings and lived most of his life in Pickett Co. Mr. Cummings was an employee of Southern Builders as a contractor and a member of the Maupin United Methodist Church.
He is preceded in death by grandfathers, Stanley Cummings and Earl Rich; cousins, Leigh Koger and Scott Rich; uncles, Scott Rich, Benny Cummings and Bill Koger; aunt, Flonnie Cummings; great-grandmother, Mary Jane Cravens.
Jacob is survived by two daughters, Emma Cummings of Livingston and Harper Cummings of Cookeville; one son, Jaydin Cummings of Livingston; one step-daughter, Ashton Penley of Livingston; parents, Jack and Stacy Cummings of Pall Mall; one sister, Jill McCormick and husband Scott of Livingston; one brother, Sam Cummings of Cookeville; grandparents, Ophie Cummings of Byrdstown and Sue Rich of Pall Mall. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other family members and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Brown Funeral Chapel with Pastors Rodney and Kim Koger officiating and burial in Chanute-Campbell Cemetery. Pallbearers were Samuel Cummings, Nick Cross, Scott McCormick, Willie Cravens, Ronnie Cravens, Chris Abbott, Chris Hammock, Michael Daniels, Lance Bailey, Kord Blackmon, Davey Beaty, Joseph Dowdy and Caleb Williams.

Carl Bradford Dunn
LAKE PLACID, FL--Carl Bradford Dunn, 85, Lake Placid, FL. went home to his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 14, 2013.
He was born Nov. 26, 1927 in Nashville, TN. to the late Zib Andrew and Dorothy Dunn. Mr. Dunn served in the US Army from 1945-1948, receiving the WWII Victory Medal and the Army of Occupation Japan Medal. He served as a martial arts instructor and was the US Army Light-Weight Champion in boxing for the Pacific Theater. After serving his country, Carl moved to Miami Springs, FL. and spent his years there as a loving husband and father. In 1983, he retired from Eastern Airlines and relocated to Lake Placid and a to a summer residence in Byrdstown. Mr. Dunn was a gifted woodcarver, held the rank of Master Carver, co-founded Lake Placid Wood Carvers and a board member of the Lake Placid Art League. He was a member of Community Christian Church, Miami, FL. and actively attended Faith Baptist Church, Lake Placid and First Baptist Church, Byrdstown. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Joan Oakes Dunn; son, Johnny Dunn and wife Kellene of Rural Hall, NC; daughter, Bandy Draper of Cookeville; brother, Lee Dunn and wife Janet of Nashville; sister-in-law, Hettie Thompson; grandchildren, Whitney Bays and husband Brandin, Seth Dunn, Gil Draper, Sarah Finison and husband Jeremy and Ashley Stewart and husband Brad; great-grandchildren, Charlotte Bays, Aiden Finison, Bailey and Mason Stewart. Also survived by nieces, nephews and special friends, Randall, Randi and Rachel Short.
Graveside services and burial with Military Honors were held Friday, May 17, 2013 at Saratosa National Cemetery, Saratosa, FL. with Pastor Bill Cole of Faith Baptist Church officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 1110 Hammock Rd., Sebring, FL. 33850. Funeral arrangements provided by Michael A. Brochetti Funeral Home.
