Randell R. Manis
April 27, 1942 - May 24, 2013

BYRDSTOWN--Randell R. Manis, 71, Byrdstown, passed away Friday, May 24, 2013 at the Pickett Co. Care & Rehabilitation Center.
He was born April 27, 1942 in Pickett Co. to the late George Carlos and Pauline Flowers Manis.
Other than his parents he is preceded in death by three sisters, Margie Blankenship, Evidean Means and Louraine Reece; seven brothers, Ray Manis, Lynn Manis, Gary Flowers, Earl Manis, Doug Manis, Dale Manis and Harold Manis; two step sons, Darrell Patterson and Mike Butler, both of Florida.
Survivors include a daughter, Karen Manis of Livingston; three sisters, Glee Holman and Barbara Smithers, both of Byrdstown, Carolyn Allen of White House, TN; and grandson, Sawyer Young.
The family has chosen cremation and will schedule a memorial service at a later date.

Christine Troxell Reeder
January 19, 1963 - May 22, 2013

MONROE--Christine Troxell Reeder, 50, 9990 Heard Ridge Rd., Monroe, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Livingston Regional Hospital.
She was born January 19, 1963 in Fentress County to the late Fred Paul and Irene Maudie Abbott Troxell and lived all her life in Pickett Co. Mrs. Reeder was a member of the Byrdstown Eastern Star #404 and a past home health care worker.
Other than her parents she is preceded in death by three sisters, Margie Garrett, Lorraine Hunter and Patricia Troxell; father-in-law, Cee Reeder.
Survivors include her husband Larry Reeder; one son, John Reeder; grandchild, McKenzie Elizabeth Reeder all of Monroe; mother-in-law, Dean Reeder of Byrdstown; three sisters, Connie Cope of Burkesville, KY., Paulette Britt of Byrdstown and Loretta Troxell of Monroe; two brothers, Lonnie Troxell of Warsaw, KY. and Arnold Troxell of Monroe; also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday May 25 2013 at Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Rick Cross officiating and burial at Story Cemetery. Pallbearers included Keith Myers, Kirk King, Leslie Reeder, Roger Linder, Jerry Gunter and Chancellor Britt. Special care provided by Brown Funeral Chapel.

Betty Mae Lee Flowers
March 4, 1938 - May 19, 2013

MONROE--Betty Mae Lee Flowers, 75 of Flowers Rd., Monroe passed away Sunday, May 19, 2013 at the Overton Co. Nursing Home.
She was born March 4, 1938 in Pickett Co. to the late Omer and Bessie Mae Booher Lee. Mrs. Flowers was of Christian faith, retired Head Start teacher and lived all her life in Pickett Co. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Roy H. Flowers; two brothers, Hue Lee and twin brother Jimmy Lee; brother-in-law, Bob Manis.
Survivors include daughter, Deborah Forsman and husband, Robert of Monroe; three sisters, Faye Manis of Byrdstown, Barbara Bilbrey and husband Joe, Byrdstown and Wincye Shelley and husband Donnie, of Albany, KY; three brothers, John Lee and wife Betty of Byrdstown, Delmer Lee and wife Betty of Georgia and Sam Lee and wife Peggy of Indiana; sister-in-law, Juanita Lee of Byrdstown. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, May 24, 2013 at Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Donnie Shelley officiating and burial at Wirmingham Cemetery. Pallbearers included Robert Manis, Ronnie Manis, Jerry P. Flowers, Charlie Lee and Johnny Lee. Special care provided by Brown Funeral Chapel.
