Shannon Ruth Robbins Poore
May 5, 1935 - June 24, 2013

PALL MALL--Shannon Ruth Robbins Poore, 78, 4067 Harlan Lee Rd., Pall Mall passed away Monday, June 24, 2013 at the Livingston Regional Hospital.
She was born May 5, 1935 in Pickett Co. to the late Dock and Dutchie Boles Robbins. Mrs. Poore was a retired factory employee and homemaker.
Survivors include husband, Jerry Poore of Pall Mall; daughter, Deborah Melton and husband Junior of Economy, IN; two grandchildren, Chad Melton of Boerne, TX. and Alesia Melton of Cincinnati, OH. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other famiy members and friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, June 28, 2013 at Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Rick Cross officiating and burial at Williams Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers were Bill Davidson, Joe Poor, Jerry Poore, Billy Harmon, Nick Poore and Buster Harmon. Special care provided by Brown Funeral Chapel.

Paul Buford Jordan
April 13, 1927 - June 23, 2013

BYRDSTOWN--Paul Buford Jordan, 86, Olympus Dr., Byrdstown passed away Sunday, June 23, 2013 at Livingston Regional Hospital.
He was born April 13, 1927 in Washburn, TN to the late Frank and Mae Welch Jordan. Mr. Jordan lived most of his life in Nashville and Byrdstown. He was a member of the Smyrna Church, member of the Byrdstown Masonic Lodge #496, Lions Club and American Legion, Veteran of WWII serving in the Navy, past Mayor of Byrdstown and past Pickett Co. Commissioner and Foreman of the Grand Jury. Mr. Jordan was a retired state employee as Assistant Commissioner with the Department of Personnel and a farmer.
Other than his parents he is preceded in death by two sons, David and Steven Jordan; two brothers, Horace and Raymond Jordan; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Titus and Matha Walker; sister-in-law, Beulah Ledbetter; brother-in-law, Donald Walker. Survivors include wife of 56 years and caregiver for the past 9 years, Linnie Walker Jordan; daughter, Sandra Daniel and husband Richard all of Byrdstown; two sons, Paul Ernest Jordan and Ray Jordan and wife Judy of Monterey; two sisters, Wanda Seals, Burns, TN and Catherine Jones and husband Bobby of Etowah, TN; four brothers, Earl Jordan and wife Polly of Corryton, TN., Bruce Jordan, H.P. Jordan and wife Shirley all of Etowah, TN., Herman Jordan and wife Doris of Decatur, TN; two sister-in-laws, Bea Jordan of Washburn and Francis Jordan of Nashville; 11 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Randy Tompkins and Bro. Rick Cross officiating and burial at Smyrna Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Steven Jordan, Derrick Jordan, David Jordan, Sean Jordan, Tony Jordan and David Abbott. Honorary pallbearers included Gary Stover, Brandon Holleman, Dwight Jordan and Doug Jordan. Special care provided by Brown Funeral Chapel.
