Edith Kate Huddleston Alexander

BYRDSTOWN--Edith Kate Huddleston Alexander, 81, 14 Alexander Lane, Byrdstown passed away Sunday, June 30, 2013 at her residence.
Mrs. Alexander was born January 3, 1932 to the late Arlen and Gracie Coe Meeks Huddleston. She was a homemaker and lived the past 37 years in Pickett Co.
Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Elmer Alexander; two sisters, Wilma Flowers and Peggy Buckner; brother, Bobby Huddleston.
Survivors include three daughters, Kristy Dowdy and husband Mike, Connie Alexander and Cathy Alexander all of Byrdstown; sister, Linda Huddleston, Byrdstown; five brothers, Johnny Huddleston of Rickman, Bethel Huddleston and Cecil Huddleston of English, IN., Wendell Huddleston of Tampa, FL. and Jimmy Huddleston of Denver, CO.; three grandchildren, Michelle Zachary, Melissa Rhule and Amanda Beaty; five great-grandchildren. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Graveside services were held Tuesday, July 2, 2013 from the Alexander Family Cemetery with Bro. Johnny Rexroat. Pallbearers were Bryan Rhule, Michael Dowdy, Johnny Huddleston, Jack Huddleston, Cecil Huddleston and Doug Garrett. Special care provided by Brown Funeral Chapel.
William Andrew Holbert
February 17, 1937 - June 27, 2013
PALL MALL--William Andrew Holbert "Bill", 76 of 5440 Koger Mt. Rd., Pall Mall passed away Thursday, June 27, 2013 at the Livingston Regional Hospital.
Mr. Holbert was born February 17, 1937 in Pickett Co. to the late Issac and Lina Brown Holbert. He was a retired truck driver and lived most of his life in Pickett Co. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara Jane Holbert and his second wife, Patricia Sue Holbert; one brother, James Holbert.
Survivors include three daughters, Cynthia Thrasher and husband Charles of Rickman; Brenda Helms and husband David of Pine Hills, FL. and Sherry Mahaffey of Cookeville; two sons, Ronald Holbert and wife Linda Sue and William Andrew Holbert, Jr. all of Rickman; one sister, Maxine Back, Lake City, FL; girlfriend, Cricket Rodgers of Pall Mall; 19 grandchildren. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 1, 2013 at Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Mike Gillock and Bro. Tex Boles officiating and burial at Chanute-Campbell Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ron Holbert, Bill Holbert, Wes Thompson, Don Mahaffey, Shawn Mahaffey and Don Mahaffey, Jr. Special care provided by Brown Funeral Chapel.
