Ruth E. Coe
October 3, 1938 - July 22, 2013


NASHVILLE--Ruth E. Coe of Nashville, TN passed away at home on July 22, 2013.
She was born October 3, 1938 in Moodyville, TN and is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Hila Huddleston, and one sister, June Janelle Huddleston.
Mrs. Coe is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Carlos Earl Coe; son, Jack Richard (Luann) Coe; daughters, Patricia Bouldin and Rhonda Brooks; special son-in-law, Ricky Brooks; grandchildren, Bradley and Kristy Valentine, Erica (Tad) and Brittany Coe, Shelby Brooks, and Caroline Sapp; grand puppy, “Sweetie Pie”; sisters, Janet (Kelly) Clark and Barbara Easterly; sister-in-laws, Betty Coe and Mary (Paul) Allison; seven nephews; three nieces; a host of other relatives and special friend, Marie Cothran. Mrs. Coe was a bus driver for Metro Schools for 27 years and a member of Westwood Baptist Church.
The family received friends July 23rd and July 24th with the service at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of West Harpeth Funeral Home 6962 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, TN. Brothers Carl Duck and Larry Johnson officiated with nephews to serve as active pall bearers. Interment followed at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. The family would like to extend a special “Thanks” to Tennessee Oncology and Gentiva Hospice.

Howard Reed Logan
June 20, 1930 - July 21, 2013

LOUISVILLE, KY--Howard Reed Logan, 83 went home to be with the Lord on July 21, 2013 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born June 20, 1930 to the late Robert and Nettie Logan. Mr. Logan was a retired from Oscar Ewing Dairy.
Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his son, James H. Logan.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Dorothy Houchens Logan; daughters, Stella "Louise" Hill and husband Harvey, Liz Hines and husband Paul and Alice Marie Gee and husband Jerry; son, Tim Logan and wife Kelly; sisters, Mary Dishman and husband Ted and Lena Buck; brothers, Russell Logan and wife Stella and Gene Logan and wife Betty; 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Also survived my other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held July 24, 2013 at Owen Funeral Home and burial in Campbell-Chanute Cemetery in Pall Mall. Funeral arrangements were provided by Owen Funeral Home in Louisville, KY.
