Lola Storie Cross
June 16, 1920 - January 29, 2014

BYRDSTOWN--Lola Irene Storie Cross, 93 of Mt. Union School Rd., Byrdstown passed away Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014 in the Livingston Regional Hospital.
She was born June 16, 1920 in Pickett Co. to the late Roy Bransford and Sarah Pritchard Storie.
Mrs. Cross was a homemaker and attended Bloomington Christian Church while her health permitted. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Johnie Cross; two infant sons, Wendell and Glendell Cross; four sisters, Emma Clark, Duell Reagan, Madell Alvey and Amma Brown; three brothers, Estil, Baxter and Havis Storie; half-sister, Ada Bilbrey.
Survivors include daughter, Rhuveda Cross; two sons, Randall Cross and wife Marilyn, all of Byrdstown; Ronnie Cross of Muncie, IN; brother, Hivis Storie of Byrdstown; five grandchildren, Bob Cross (Jane), Mickie Cross, Barry Cross (Linda), Andy and Corey Cross; two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Lydia Cross; three step great-grandchildren, Julian, Christian and Neta Gregory. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Arnold Moon, Bro. Rick Cross and Bro. Henry Colbert officiating and burial Cross Cemetery. Pallbearers were Bob Cross, Andy Cross, Tyler Cross, Corey Cross, Larry Brown and Bob Storie. Special care provided by Brown Funeral Chapel.
