Elsie (Brown) Masiongale

BYRDSTOWN--Elsie (Brown) Masiongale, 79, 1447 Clark
Mtn. Road, Byrdstown, passed away August 18, 2009 at Vanderbilt
Medical Center, in Nashville. She was a factory employee
and a homemaker.
She was born Sept. 12, 1929 in Wayne County, Ky., the
daughter of Burl and Mary (Jones) Brown. She lived most of
her life in Pickett County.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edd Masiongale;
several brothers and sisters.
Surviving relatives include three daughters Deanna Range,
Lavergne, Tn.; Jane Clark, Muncie, In.; Cassie King,
Jamestown; two sons William Masiongale, Woodbury, Tn.; Tim
Masiongale, Byrdstown; nine grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren,
several nieces, nephews, other family members and
friends.
Funeral services were held August 20 at 2 p.m. from Brown
Funeral Chapel with Bro. Henry Colbert officiating. Burial was
at Mt. Era Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jim Stanley, Chris
Range, Brandon Bridges, Michael Bayer, Jimmy Clark and
James Harris. Honorary pallbearers were Bryce and Nathan
Bayer, Jimmy Clark and Zach Range. Special care was provided
by Brown Funeral Chapel of Byrdstown.
