Betty Lee (Clevenger) Rayle
September 10, 1935 - September 6, 2009

BYRDSTOWN--Betty Lee (Clevenger) Rayle, 73, 5215 Turney
Groce Rd., Byrdstown, passed away Sept. 6, 2009 at Cookeville
Regional Medical Center. She was a clerk and a housewife.
She was born Sept. 10, 1935 in Chesapeake, Oh., the daughter
of Leon and Eva (Darling) Clevenger. She lived the past 15
years in Pickett County and was a member of the Emanuel
Catholic Church in Albany, Ky.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Jim
Rayle.
Surviving relatives include husband, William “Bill” Rayle,
Byrstown; two daughters Sharon Mann, Lafayette, La., Sandra
Zanelotti, Mechanicsville, Md.; son, William R. Rayle, Mechanicsville,
Md.; sister, Patricia Jameson, Byrdstown; two
brothers, James Clevenger, Nashville; Ronald Clevenger, Byrdstown;
10 grandchildren, two great grandchildren; nieces,
nephews, other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held Sept. 8, at 7:30 p.m. at Brown Funeral
Chapel with Father Dan officiating. Burial was at Cedar
Hill Cemetery in Suitland, Md. Special care was provided by
Brown Funeral Chapel of Byrdstown.
