Ralph Travis Bilbrey
August 23, 1926 - November 14, 2009

BYRDSTOWN--Ralph Travis Bilbrey, 83, 105 Walnut St., Byrdstown, passed away Nov. 14, 2009 at Livingston Regional Hospital.
He was born Aug. 23, 1926 in Byrdstown, the son of the late Reese and Lillie (Guffey) Bilbrey. He lived most of his life in Muncie, In., and was a member of the Byrdstown First Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Euva Jeyne Bilbrey; two sisters, Mossie McClain and Alice Peterect; three brothers Major, Woodrow and Robert Bilbrey; grandson, Larry Joe Bilbrey II.
Surviving relatives include wife: Jean (Parris) Bilbrey; two daughters: Wanda King and Debbie Lee, both of Marion, In.; stepdaughter, Patty King, Byrdstown; son, Larry Bilbrey and wife, Loretta, Hartford City, In.; stepson Joe Storie, Plant City, Fl.; three sisters: Blance Higginbotham, Pall Mall; Rita Garrett, Monroe; Ruth Williams, Muncie; three brothers: Ray and Herman Bilbrey, both of Byrdstown; Glen Dale Bilbrey, Muncie, In.; two grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, four step grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other family members and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held Nov. 16 at 1 p.m. from Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Tony Bilbrey and Bro. John Davis officitaing. Burial was at Parris-Riley Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Travis, Stephen, Chris and Mike Bilbrey; John Reagan, James Parris, Joseph King and Travis Parrott.
Special care was provided by Brown Funeral Chapel of Byrdstown.
