MUNCIE, IN--Julia Diana “Judy” (Garrett) Wilkey, 61, 2211 S. Gharkey, Muncie, In., passed away Dec. 27, 2009 at her residence. She was a homemaker.
She was born May 7, 1948 in Albany, Ky. the daughter of Randall and Betty Lou (Sells) Garrett. She loved to be around people and having fun. Her greatest enjoyment was for her family, being a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Surviving relatives are husband, Brad Wilkey, Akron, Oh.; three sons, Carl Barber Jr., Muncie, In.; Rodney Barber and wife, Stephanie, Muncie, In.; Audie Barber, Muncie, In.; two sisters Patricia Jane Marier and husband, Dean, Byrdstown; Loretta Fay Gluff and husband David, Muncie, In.; special niece, Angel Dean, Muncie, In.; 10 grandchildren: Ashley Newell, Heidi, Drew, Kari, Carl III, Travis, Gracey, Audie Jr., and Courtney Barber, Kristen Clairday; two great grandchildren Lilly Barber and Sean Newell; several other wonderful nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
Funeral services were held Jan. 1, 2010 at Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Tom Jones officiating. Burial was at Garrett Cemetery. Pallbearers were Audie Barber Jr., Mike Hutchison, Kendle Davidson, Gary Mullins, Bob Davidson, and Donnie Sells. Special care provided by Brown Funeral Chapel of Byrdstown.
