K-8 April Newsletter

DEAR FAMILIES:
I hope everyone had a wonderful spring break. April is the month for the TCAP test. The test will be given the week of April 14th. Please keep this in mind when making appointments and plans for the month of April. Testing will take place in the morning before lunch and Achievement Day activities will take place in the afternoon. The end of the school year is quickly approaching and there are several important dates coming up in April and May.

April 14-18: TCAP test in the mornings before lunch, Achievement Day activities in the afternoon
April 24: 8th Grade parent meeting at High School 7 p.m.
April 25: Mid-nine weeks progress reports go home
April 28: Achievement Day academics
May 1: Tom Thumb Wedding, 7 p.m.
May 1: 5th Grade Trip
May 2: Tom Thumb Wedding, 8:30 a.m.
May 2: 4th Grade Trip
May 2: Luau, 6-10 p.m.
May 6: Jump Rope Program 7 p.m.
May 8: Kindergarten Zoo Trip
May 9: 5th Grade Assembly Program
May 13: Kindergarten Graduation, 7 p.m.
May 15, 16 & 19: Pre-K & Kindergarten Pre-Registration
May 20 & 21: Kindergarten Visit
May 22: Administration Day, no students
May 22: 8th Grade Graduation, 7 p.m.
May 23: Last Day of School

Anyone who missed parent/teacher conferences on March 27 and would like to meet with their student's teacher call 864-3496 and make an appointment.
