Byrdstown Head Start hosts Recruitment FairSubmitted
Byrdstown Head Start hosted their annual recruitment fair on Wednesday, March 26th.
The children enjoyed a fun filled day of educational games and prizes. We would like to thank everyone who participated. A big thank you to John Stone and all of our youth volunteers. We would also like to thank Byrdstown Dairy Queen, Algood & Jamestown Wal-Mart, and Albany Burger King for their donations.
L.B.J.& C. Head Start is a high quality, comprehensive program that focuses on 11 major areas of child development. Our goal is to enable children to achieve school readiness and success in life. The Byrdstown Head Start center has NAEYC accreditation and a 3-star report card rating from the Tennessee Department of Human Services. Our teaching staff holds degrees in Early Childhood Education/Development. We will continue to take applications through April 30. Please bring your child’s birth certificate, shot records, insurance card, and your proof of income. We look forward to serving your family.
