UCHRA receives grant for GPS equipped vans

Congressman Bart Gordon announced that the Department of Transportation, Federal Transit Administration has awarded a $412,840 grant to the Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency (UCHRA) for the purchase of eight vans equipped with specialized GPS equipment to provide public transit service to the citizens of the Upper Cumberland area. “We appreciate the continued efforts of Congressman Bart Gordon to provide transportation services to the residents of the Upper Cumberland area” stated Phyllis Bennett, UCHRA Executive Director.
