Congressman Lincoln Davis sworn
in for a fourth term in Congress
WASHINGTON, DC – On January 6th, 2009, the gavel sounded
marking the opening of the 111th Congress. On that day, Congressman
Lincoln Davis of Pall Mall, was sworn in for his
fourth term in the House of Representatives.
Congressman Davis wasted no time
getting to work and setting an agenda for
the coming two year term.
“As I begin my fourth term in the U.S.
House of Representatives, I will be working
to see that getting the economy moving
again is our number one priority by investing
in infrastructure improvements and
support for small business tax incentives,
among other items,” said Congressman
Davis.
The Congressman comes into the 111th
Congress with some new assignments. Recently
selected for the powerful Appropriations
Committee, Congressman Davis will be a strong advocate
for Tennessee’s needs.
Congressman Davis lives in Fentress County, and represents
a district spanning 24 counties and over 10,000 square miles of
Tennessee. He and his wife, Lynda, have three children and five
grandchildren. They are members of the First Baptist Church
in Byrdstown.
