Suspect arrested in recent burglary

Pickett County Sheriff's Department have
arrested a suspect in connection
with the recent break-ins of several
vacation homes.
James E. Fisher, 51, 3082 76
Falls Road, Albany has been
charged with one count of aggravated
burglary, where he is alleged
to have broken into a home on
Parkview Drive.
There are pending charges on
Fisher for the other burglaries,
where the total value of property
stolen could reach $100,000.
Those charges will be presented to the next
scheduled Pickett County Grand Jury, according
to Pickett County Sheriff Clois
Brown.
According to a report, Fisher is alleged
to have sold some of the stolen
items in a yard sale at his home in Albany.
Clinton County Sheriff's Department
along with Albany Police Department
are working with Pickett
County Sheriff's Department and
there are charges against Fisher in
Clinton County for aggravated robbery
and fugitive from justice from the charges
in Pickett County.
