Pickett May 12 Board of Education meeting

The Pickett County Board of Education met Monday, May 12, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at the office of the director of schools with the following members present: John Reagan, Chairman, Frank Capps, Terrell Garner and Jimmy Storie.
Motion by Frank Capps seconded by Terrell Gamer to adopt the agenda and approve the minutes from the April 8, 2008 meeting. All ayes. Motion passed.
Motion by Jimmy Storie seconded by Frank Capps to approve tenure for Carrie Gunter. All ayes. Motion passed.
Motion by Frank Capps seconded by John Reagan to approve the grant contract for 2008-09 for Coordinated School Health. All ayes. Motion passed.
Motion by Jimmy Storie seconded by Frank Capps to approve the No Child Left Behind Project for 2008-09. All ayes. Motion passed.
Motion by Terrell Garner seconded by John Reagan to approve the following board policies-second reading. All ayes. Motion passed.
