Grand Jury Indictments returned

are not a determination of
guilt or innocence, but result when
sufficient evidence is presented by
the district attorney to warrant sending
cases to the trial court.
Pickett County Grand Jury
returned several indictments
Monday, August 24th.
According to the court
records, the following have
been indicted and appeared
before Judge Patterson
Wednesday, August 26th.
•James E. Fisher, Jr., 52, of
3082 76 Falls Rd., Albany;
charged with theft of property
valued at $500 or less.
•Adam Amonett, 21, of
4276 Harlen Lee Rd., Pall
Mall; charged with burglary,
aggravated burglary, vandalism,
possession of burglary
tools, simple possession of
schedule IV controlled substance,
simple possession of
marijuana, theft of property
valued at $1,000 or more,
DUI-first offense, possession
of drug paraphernalia.
•Billy Joe Stinson, 29, of
3275 Moodyville Rd., charged
with theft of property valued
at more that $500 but less
than $1,000.
Pickett County Sheriff Clois
Brown stated that there are to
be more indictments and those
will be published in next
week’s edition of the PRESS.
