Pickett County K-8 Food Drive

The Pickett County K-8 will be hosting their annual food drive for the whole month of November. This food will be distributed by the DAV to families in need in Pickett County.
Last year the DAV served over 100 families during Thanksgiving and Christmas. The PCHS just finished their drive in which they collected a total of 601 cans. The Seniors collected the most cans and were rewarded with a pizza party and Hi-C sponsored by Dr. Keith Willis and Stephen Bilbrey, County Executive and Hi-C sponsored by McDonald's of Livingston.
Thank you for helping to teach our children the rewards of giving to those in need. Look for us at the K-8 Thanksgiving Dinner on November 19 and see how Pickett County Food Bank has progressed.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Patricia Reagan at the Family Resource Center at 864-6940 or Emily Sells at 864-3310.
Thank you again for your support!
