Pickett County Commission Dec 14 meeting
The Pickett County Commissioners met in regular session on December 14, 2009. Present and presiding was the Honorable Stephen Bilbrey, Chairman and Robert Lee, Clerk of the Court. Court was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Clerk Lee who turned the meeting over to Chairman Bilbrey. The invocation was given by Danny Dennis. The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given by all. All commissioners were present. The following is action taken at that meeting:
•Passed motion by Danny Dennis and seconded by Colan Huddleston to approve the agenda as presented. All ayes. Motion carried.
•Carried motion by William Gibson and seconded by Wayne Clayborn to approve the minutes of November 16, 2009 county court meeting. All ayes. Motion carried.
•Approved motion by Colan Huddleston and seconded by Penny Russell to replace Clois Brown on the 911 Board with Jeff Flowers to fulfill his unexpired term ending September 2011. All ayes. Motion carried.
•Passed motion by Colan Huddleston and seconded by Evan Wright to adjourn until the next week scheduled meeting on January 18, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. in the community room of the Pickett County Library.
