Shelley's find surprise in trap

Submitted
Melissa and Miciah Shelley, children of Steve and Patricia Shelley, have been growing chickens near where they live in Bloomington.
They lost several chickens last year to predators so their granny, Sue Whited, helped them set a live trap to catch the varmints. Last year they caught several raccoons, skunks and possums in the trap. Their biggest catch was last Thursday night when they caught a live Bobcat. They had never seen a Bobcat before so they were really surprised when they found it in the trap Friday morning. Since the Bobcat is the mascot for Pickett County’s sports teams, they wanted to share a picture of the Bobcat with our readers. For anyone who might be concerned, they didn’t have the bobcat killed. It was taken to a remote area of the county and turned loose.
