Hull York ch5 takes part in Pickett Co Holiday Food Drive

Submitted:
Hull-York Ch. 5 was pleased to participate in the recent Pickett County Food Drive conducted during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
The chapter provided turkeys and rolls for the food baskets and also purchased a hot Thanksgiving lunch for the residents of the senior citizens apartments. The members of Hull-York Ch. 5 would like to thank everyone that helped in or contributed to the food drive in anyway.
The success of this year’s food drive could not have been possible without the help of the individuals and businesses that generously gave monetary contributions. Since some of the donated funds were not used during the holidays, Hull-York Ch. 5 presented a check for the balance of the unused funds to the Pickett County Family Resource Council to help provide food items throughout the year to the needy families of Pickett County.
