Pickett County Board of Ed. March 8 meeting

The Pickett County Board of Education met Monday, March 8, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. at the office of the director of schools with the following members present: Jerry Mitchell, Chairman, Terrell Garner, John Reagan and Jimmy Storie.
Motion by John Reagan seconded by Jerry Mitchell to adopt the agenda and approve the minutes from the February 8, 2010 meeting. All ayes. Motion passed.
Motion by John Reagan seconded by Jimmy Storie to approve the school calendar for 2010-2011. All ayes. Motion passed.
Motion by Jimmy Storie seconded by Terrell Garner to approve the Restraint Policy as presented. All ayes. Motion passed.
Motion by Jerry Mitchell seconded by John Reagan to approve the Testing Code of Ethics as presented. All ayes. Motion passed.
Motion by Jimmy Storie seconded by Jerry Mitchell to approve trip to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for the Jr. High Cheerleaders March 18th through 22nd. All ayes. Motion passed.
Motion by John Reagan seconded by Terrell Garner to approve changes to the 2009-2010 school calendar to make up snow days. All ayes. Motion passed.
Motion by Jimmy Storie seconded by Terrell Garner to adjourn. All ayes. Motion passed.
