Father, son arrested for making meth

Father, son arrested for making methPickett County Deputies were serving a warrant and found two individuals in the process of manufacturing meth last Friday evening, October 1.
According to Pickett County Sheriff Dana Dowdy, a violation of probation was being served on Michael Shelly Perdue, 37, 198 Perdue Road, when Deputies Steve Wilber, Jeff Flowers and Jerry Governale noticed the front door was open and a strong odor was coming from the residence.
Once they walked up to the door and could see inside, deputies saw Michael S. Perdue and Michael E. Perdue, 18, in the process of manufacturing meth.
Both men were placed under arrest and Clan Lab Certified Officer Elbert “Chico” Conner dismantled the lab.
A DEA meth clean-up crew was notified and the removal of the lab was completed early Saturday morning.
Michael S. and Michael E. were charged with manufacturing meth.
