Two arrested for possession

Two arrested for possessionOn Friday, October 9, the Pickett County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call reporting a reckless driver. The 911 operator advised the driver was on Highway 111 North coming from Overton County. Pickett County Deputies Hammock and Governale spotted the vehicle and made the stop.
Upon approaching the vehicle, the deputies smelled a strong odor. After inventory of the vehicle, deputies found bags of marijuana.
Richard Luttrell, 25, of 403 Allen Street, Albany, Kentucky was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to resale, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest, assault on an officer, and introduction of contraband into a penal institution.
Jordon Stearns, 18, 206 Wilson Airport Sub Road, Albany Ky., was a passenger in the vehicle and was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to resale and possession of drug paraphernalia.
