Portable meth lab found in backpack
On September 29, Jordan Cummings, 25, Byrdstown, was charged with promotions of methamphetamine manufacture. After arresting Mr. Cummings on unrelated charges, Pickett County Deputy Jerry Governale entered the home and noticed a backpack (pictured above).
After further investigation, and review of the contents, certified CLAN Officer Elbert “Chico” Conner recognized the tools, materials, and ingredients to be a portable Methamphetamine Lab.
