Pickett Commissioners reconvened meeting minutes

Chairman Stephen Bilbrey reconvened the Pickett County Commissioners meeting on June 30th.
•Approved the motion by William Gibson and seconded by Deborah Garrett to reconvene the June 16 county court meeting. All voted aye except Misty Dowdy, Eddie Holt and Evan Wright who were absent. Motion carried.
•Carried a motion by Colan Huddleston and seconded by Kenny Tompkins to approve notary renewals for Mylinda Reagan, Judy C. Robbins and Debra K. Wright. All ayes, motion carried.
•Passed a motion by Colan Huddleston and seconded by Penny Russell to approve transferring fund in the amount of $1,343.00 from reserve account for computer system, register to County General Fund balance for computer desk. All ayes, motion carried.
•Approved a motion by Deborah Garrett and seconded by Kenny Tompkins to approve Resolution #07/08-16. This is a resolution to adopt a continuing budget and tax rate for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2008. All ayes, motion carried.
•Carried a motion by Danny Dennis and seconded by William Gibson to approve the Dry Creek Cooperative Agreement between Fentress County, Fentress County Utility District and Pickett County. All voted aye, motion carried.
Prior to the next item, Evan Wright entered the meeting.
•Passed a motion by Kenny Tompkins and seconded by William Gibson to approve FY 2007/2008 Budget Amendment #17, County General Fund as submitted by the county executive. All ayes, motion carried.
•Approved a motion by Deborah Garrett and seconded by Kenny Tompkins to approve FY 2007/2008 Budget Amend-ment #18, Industrial Develop-ment Fund as submitted by the county executive. All ayes, motion carried.
•Carried a motion by William Gibson and seconded by Danny Dennis to approve FY 2007/2008 Budget Amendment #19, General Debt Service Fund as submitted by the county executive. All ayes, motion carried.
•Passed a motion by Deborah Garrett and seconded by Wayne Clayborn to approve FY 2007/2008 Budget Amendment #20, Solid Waste Fund as submitted by Mr. Stephen Bilbrey, County Executive. All ayes, motion carried.
In other business, the Hutchinson buildings were discussed with no action being taken.
Budget committee meeting July 7, at 5 p.m. at Pickett Library.
EMS Committee meeting July 14, at 5 p.m. at Pickett Library.
•Approved a motion by Colan Huddleston and seconded by Evan Wright to adjourn until the next scheduled county court meeting July 21, at 6 p.m. in the community room of the Pickett County Library without roll call.
