A 49-year-old Pall Mall resident was arrested Thursday, February 24 by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation after he was indicted by the Fentress County Grand Jury in connection with the death of his daughter.
Darrell Huff, of 522 Bear Huff Loop, Jamestown, was indicted on one count of aggravated child abuse, one count of aggravated child neglect, and one count of felony murder.
On December 24, 2010, four-year-old Brittany Huff was admitted to the University of Tennessee medical Center where she died three days later. The autopsy revealed that she died of a Morphine overdose. The morphine belonged to her father, Darrell Huff.
Huff was booked into the Fentress County Jail Thursday afternoon on a $200,000 bond.
Arraignment on the charges will be held Monday, March 7.
